WHY WORK & RIDE
Pillar 1

Start as season crew, even without certification

No ski/snowboard license is needed to start as general season crew. If you are eligible for the right working-holiday visa, you can apply as a trainee for rental, fitting, guest service, resort support, content, and mountain operations support roles.

Our in-house training focuses on service, rental operations, fitting, safety basics, and guest experience. It does not guarantee instructor certification or paid instructor placement.

Pillar 2

A season that can become a career

Up to 3 seasons, across countries.

Year 1: Start as season crew in Asahikawa or Korea.
Year 2: Return as stronger crew, lead support, guest service lead, or instructor-track candidate.
Year 3: Keep the season alive through our partner and alumni network spanning Japan, Korea, and New Zealand.

Returning crew may receive priority job-opening information, referral opportunities, portfolio support, interview preparation, and reference support.

This is a pathway, not a guarantee.

Pillar 3

Two clean ways into Korea

Two compliant routes into a Korean winter.

1. H-1 working-holiday visa holders may apply directly for Korea Resort Crew.
2. Applicants who want to study Korean may receive information about a Korean-language program or optional pre-season bootcamp, subject to conditions.

Language-study visa routes are study-first pathways. Korean language program enrollment does not mean a ski resort job is confirmed.

Track A

Japan Asahikawa Winter Crew

A full snow season in Asahikawa, Hokkaido — rental, fitting, guest service, resort support, content, and training support roles. For Japan working-holiday eligible applicants.

  • Target: applicants who hold or plan to apply for a Japan working-holiday visa.
  • Main target passports: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and selected European countries, subject to Japan working-holiday eligibility.
  • Location: Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.
  • Roles: rental shop crew; boot and board fitting support; guest service; resort support; ski/snowboard school support; content assistant; operations support.

Track B

Korea Ski Resort Working Holiday

Join a Korean winter season through the H-1 working-holiday route. Support resort operations, rental, F&B, international guest service, and content roles.

繁體：透過 H-1 打工度假路線參與韓國冬季。可申請滑雪場營運支援、雪具租借、餐飲服務、國際旅客服務與內容拍攝等職務。

  • Target: applicants who hold or plan to apply for a Korean H-1 working-holiday visa.
  • Main target passports: Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, and selected European countries, subject to Korean H-1 eligibility.
  • Roles: ski resort support; rental shop crew; resort F&B; guest service for international customers; content assistant; operations support.
  • Optional: 2-4 week Korean and service bootcamp before the season.
Eligibility check
H-1 working-holiday eligibility is required.
Applicants with passports not eligible for Korean H-1, including Malaysia and Singapore, should be routed to non-work future snow information routes unless they already hold independent work authorization.

Study-first Korea Pathway

Optional study-first route or pre-season bootcamp for applicants who want a longer preparation path before a Korea winter.

  • Study is the primary purpose on any language-study route.
  • Part-time work may require time-in-country, language level, attendance, school approval and immigration permission.

School admission, visa status and part-time work permission are never guaranteed by Work & Ride.

Instructor / Pro Track

Certified instructor candidates only · Ski Level 1 or equivalent required

For certified skiers who already hold Ski Level 1 or equivalent. Instructor-track opportunities may be available through Asahikawa operations or Niseko partner schools, depending on partner review, visa eligibility, language ability, season demand, insurance, and direct contract conditions.

薪資、工時、住宿與餐食怎麼安排？

薪資、工時、住宿與餐食安排會依國家、職缺、合作單位與工作期間而不同。我們會在面試時依照您的情況與申請方向詳細說明。實際條件以正式說明、合作單位規定與當地法規為準。

韓國滑雪場打工度假需要什麼簽證？

韓國雪季工作的簽證與申請方向，會在面試時依照個人情況詳細說明。Paul Ski 可協助說明準備方向，但簽證申請與核發仍以本人資格及主管機關審查結果為準。

日本北海道雪季工作如何申請？

日本北海道雪季工作通常需要申請日本打工度假相關資格。日本簽證需由申請者本人依照日本相關規定自行申請，Paul Ski 會在面試與培訓過程中協助說明工作方向與準備重點。

Q4 · 連續兩個雪季

可以連續兩個雪季參加嗎？

有機會規劃連續兩個雪季的海外雪場經驗，例如第一年日本、第二年韓國，或依照個人條件與當年度機會安排不同國家的雪季工作。實際能否參加，仍需視簽證資格、面試結果、工作表現、合作單位需求與當年度名額而定。

工作內容會在面試後依照您的語言能力、服務經驗、個性與合作單位需求一起討論。可能包含雪具租借、滑雪／滑雪板相關服務、旅客服務、現場營運支援或其他雪季工作。最終職務會以面試與合作單位安排為準。

Paul Ski 會保證錄取、簽證或收入嗎？

Paul Ski 不保證錄取、簽證核發、固定收入或指定職位。通過面試並長期穩定合作、表現良好的成員，未來可依情況獲得滑雪或滑雪板 Level 1、Level 2 考試相關支援與培訓機會。Paul Ski 為合法營運，合作旅行社為偉澤旅行社有限公司（統編 28216570）。

Year 1 · Season Crew

Start your first winter in Asahikawa or Korea as season crew, rental support, guest service, resort support, content assistant, or operations support.

Year 2 · Returning Crew / Lead Support

Come back stronger as returning crew, lead support, multilingual guest service, rental lead assistant, or instructor-track candidate.

Year 3 · Go South

Keep the season alive in the Southern Hemisphere. Through our partner and alumni network spanning Japan, Korea, and New Zealand, strong returning crew may receive priority job-opening information, referral opportunities, portfolio support, interview preparation, and reference support.

Routing Logic

  • If Japan working-holiday eligible + prefers Japan: Route to Track A — Japan Asahikawa Winter Crew.
  • If Korean H-1 eligible + prefers Korea: Route to Track B — Korea Ski Resort Working Holiday.
  • If applicant holds Ski Level 1 or equivalent: also show Track D — Instructor / Pro Track. Mention Asahikawa and Niseko partner schools only in this track.
  • If passport is Malaysia or Singapore: do not route to Korea/Japan paid working-holiday staff tracks unless the applicant already holds an independent work-authorized visa. Route to Future Snow Information only.
  • If applicant is not visa eligible: show the snow community / travel / study-first / future intake information path.
